By structuring activities, raising student expectations, and tying program experiences to real life situations, the program hopes that children will develop the attributes and the knowledge for success.  The program now seeks to not only reduce and prevent negative and dangerous behaviors, but also to move children and youth to an understanding of the positive attributes needed in school and in life.

The program operates school days (Monday - Thursday) from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm and Friday 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Activities also take place during all school breaks (summer break, spring break, banking days, parent/teacher conferences, etc.).
